If anyone on here is planning to go to Mayhem and could text in the setlist, that would be great! Especially the one from opening night. Of course, pics and vids would be sweet too!
The Good:
-Seems to be a semi balanced set. Not favoring one album mainly.
-FINALLY ONLY ONE SONG FROM ASOP
-No Come Clarity :Spin:
-Whoracle actually represented
The Bad:
-8 song set when the rest of the mayhem bands are mainly shit
-Take This Life as a closer (imo this sucked during the 08 winter US tour as a closer over My Sweet Shadow...switch quiet place with MSS and problem solved)
-No Colony song
-The Hive being the staple Whoracle song again (yes its good but my god its the only thing they've played from it in 3 years)
Overall its okay but i'm not driving 2 hours to see a 8 song set when the only other bands i'm at all interested in are trivium and maybe megadeth
I would like to see Trivium and Megadeth as well but like you said, an 8-song setlist isn't worth it. Especially when I am low on cash. So I went to see Bodom last night instead and will just see IF next year when they headline their own SOAPF tour.
