MD421-HN head over heals!

Yesterday I just thought I should try a MD421, probably also an older one, on guitars. Today I just got one! Actually I just ebayed it...
I have some SM57 and also a e609 and I am pretty keen to test the 421 soon! there is not much information about the MD421-HN in the internet. Suprisingly even Sennheiser is not featuring the mic on their homepage... whatever! I hope I did not buy sh*t again

does anybody have the MD421-HN? What's your experience with it?

I've never heard of it or seen one like it. It looks like a very old-school style mic, but who knows?

I'm not a 421 expert, but the HN may designate the type of connector.

Maybe this is a gem...

from what i can tell, it requires a special connector called something like a Klein Tuchel (DIN 41524) to XLR adapter cable.

Sennheiser 421 U5....all the rest doesnt come close

Use a SM57 and a 421 U5 on ur guitar cab and u will be amazed

never owned or tried a 421-HN, so I can't judge on that.
I do have the 421-II and I really dig that one on toms!..a bit to fuzzy on guitar tho..
