HI,
Just wondering how many people from here are going to see Megadeth in Melbourne ???
It took me 7 1/2 hours on a bus to get here but I can't wait for tionight !!!
I will be the short haired geeky looking fella with the Metallica unforgiven shirt or a Strapping young lad shirt on !!

C ya's there :D

Great show! I've never seen so many smiling faces at a gig. It seems that everyone was so happy to finally see them, myself included. All I spoke to afterwards said how much they enjoyed the show. There was a good mix of material, which went down really well. And what better song to end with than Holy Wars?!

Megadeth rock! :D

P.S. Al Pitrelli was great.

I'm still recovering from being front row for the first half.

I'll get back to you all when I can feel my legs. :D

PS - shit!!

MEGA-FUCKING-DETH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Highlights for me: DEVIL'S ISLAND, PEACE SELLS, IN MY DARKEST HOUR, SYMPHONY, HOLY WARS :D

^&%#@(!^%(@^%$)@!&$*$!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!

Damn that place was packed. And how hot was it inside??!!

Anyway, to Spawny, Crossy, Ralphe, Mark, Dreamy, Kem, Iccy, Troops, Sydo (and that was Invisible Boy with you right?)... I think that's everyone from here that I met - apologies if I met you and missed you, my brain is kinda working at about 10% right now. It was great meeting you all, some of you for the second time, and some of you for only a brief hello. Hopefully I'll see you all of you to do it all again someday... and maybe some of the others too ;)

Was Iccy the nut who got the guitar pick??? If so, I am most impressed :)

I thought the show was awesome !!
hehehehe , no songs from risk..... what a surprise :p

I made it to the front after about 4 songs and stayed there for the rest of the night. Even managed to grab a set list.

I'm still lost for words.

Shit!

Coops, I was with my friend Dave. He doesn't post here.

We played our last show in Melbourne and it was a throwback to the old San Francisco thrash metal days for me. Those people were absolutely fanatical with that "I'm going to kill you if you don't rip my head off with speed metal" look in their eyes.

I think that sums up my experience. :p

the Melbourne show definitely had the rowdiest crowd.

While I was at the front waiting for Megadeth, after Psi-Kore, these three complete dick-sucking-motherf-ucking-arsehole-wanker-semihuman-annoying-people came up behind where I was and started giving everyone around shit.

The two with the big mouths shut-up when Megadeth came on so that was cool, but this other guy started slamming into the young guy beside me. Only to hurt him, no other reason. After 6 or so songs, I'd had enough (plus I had been pushed right to the far left of the stage and could barely see).

That's about the time I decided to head away from the front.:(

Other than those guys, everyone I met was really cool. :)
