Music: the ART of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and EXPRESSION of EMOTION.

Sports: activities involving physical exertion and athletic skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for ranking status.

i feel bad for you if you really do. i'm sure you don't and you just didn't think that comment through though. music isn't a sport... when musicians treat it as such it always suffers.

In the end when all is said and done....Its all entertainment and should be fun. The moment either an athlete or a musician treats their respective "work" as a job it ceases to be an enjoyable means to make a living. Just have fun with it. I love sports and I love music. I don't do either professionally but I can always come home at the end of the day, bash on my guitar, come up with some new riffs, eat dinner, and watch a Cardinals game on T.V. and relax. Musicians and athlete's both have to put in hours upon hours to be good at what they do. I was a collegiate athlete as well as a musician. I was and still am better at sports (in my opinion). At the same time I had the long hair and tattoos and wore black t-shirts with my favorite bands on them.

i'm with ya there... i don't care for NFL either. unless i'm personally playing in a game i couldn't care less. watching people i don't personally know competing for a shiny cup bores me to tears. most of these guys on the pro teams would never hang out with you or your friends and they would make fun of you for your hair/clothes/music/etc. if they even bothered to acknowledge your existence. fuck organized/televised sports... get of your ass and get outside and play.

That's pretty much my philosophy. I work in an auto factory at my day job... ..in other words, with about 6000 sports nuts. Here's a typical converstation:

Me: "What did you do last weekend?"

Line worker: "Watched the game on TV, drank a lot of beer. What did you do?"

Me: "Made records."

Of course, the big sport around here is Hockey. Again, I don't get what the big fucking deal is. Don't just watch, go out and PLAY it.

The reason i was taking that long to reply to your last comment it's because english isn't my native language and i'm having a hard time to express what i want to say sometimes. Especially in this case where i really don't want to say the wrong thing and to sound offensive. So what i was doing was not writing an endless post about how right i am and how you're a "douche" but trying to end the debate.

By the way Miguel cant play for at least 3 weeks... thats all cheating i guess... you should bash at Ericsson that guy wins too much money for what he does and he just sucks at it...
