Hey guys! :)

Haven't posted here in quite a while as I've been busy with uni work and shit!

This is the first time I've properly recorded a real amp. I've used one a few years ago when I had NO idea what I was doing, but yeah this is my first real attempt at micing up a tube amp. The mix isn't perfect yet, as I've been editing vocals, cymbals and guitars all day so my ears are pretty burned, but I'll post an updated one once I've had some rest.

Some info just incase anyone cares:

All the rhythm tracks are a Bugera 333XL into a Marshall Vintage modern cab with greenbacks, mic'd with a Shure SM57 and an Audix i5.

All leads and cleans are Podfarm.

Bass is Sansamp RBI.

Kick is slate.

Snare is my own sample.

Cymbals are live.

Vocals are Shure SM7B

Obviously I want general mix opinions, but would also really appreciate if anyone can give me any pointers on getting a better mic'd rhythm sound.

Thaaaanks guys! :)

Guitars lack a LOT of presence and are pretty dull IMO. The snare could be a little brighter and come up a bit as well.

Does this sound any better?

I have a really bad habbit of making guitars WAY too present, so I've been trying to stop myself from going too crazy, but I guess in my attempt to hold back I ended up making it a little too dark?

I've also turned the snare up a little, and added a bit more high-end into the reverb that's on the snare to give it a little bit more snap...

I think the guitars could probably do with another reamp with a bit less gain and a bit more volume, it's literally the first time I've ever tried it properly, and I had the amp set VERY quiet.

I also felt the vocals were a tad on the loud side so I've turned them down just a little bit...
