currently working on some mixes for a band on a local indie label. i'm pretty proud to say this is the first time i've never needed to sample replace/augment the snare.
other details:
the kick sample was pulled from the drummer's kit and the toms are also backed with samples made from the same kit. no third party shit.
bass is DI w/ a studiodevil plugin. guitars are podfarm (haven't been reamped yet). all vocals are an sm7b > presonus d8.
i'm really trying to keep a somewhat raw feel with this particular mix but i'm eager to hear some thoughts. -matt
