InFlames nailed a lot of stuff, and Ozz made a good call with Amorphis too. Childrengrinder made some good calls too.

There's just a shit ton of melodic stuff you can find. I'm not really sure what you mean by melodic, if you mean only clean melodic vocals, or what. A few more I would say would be:

Then you got plenty of power metal bands like:

Dark Moor (try Fairyland while you're at it too)

None of you recommended me Arghoslent. WTFRUDOING.

Anyway, I wasn't looking for Power Metal really, but I'll check these out regardless. And if you know of any Power Metal bands as good as Hibria, let me know.

If you guys have any NON-Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal (like Arghoslent) rec 'em to me. I like how they don't copy the shit out of the other MDM bands and put their own touch on the genre.
