They're playing at both US and Europe ProgPower fests! :kickass:

Gonna look for them, your recommendations are always good Flo.

BTW what album from Killers are worth to have (already have the first two)?

I've seen Mercenary a few times over the years, they have grown from a more Black Metal act to a very good progressive Metal band. Live they kick ass !! Another one I need to check out (can't keep up with listening these days :)

The new one isn't as good as 11 Dreams to my ears but it's still quite good. It's been getting nearly daily play for about a month now so I'd say it's fairly well a hit with me. There's some really good tracks on it, like Redefine Me, Lost Reality, My Secret Window, and The Hours That Remain. The only one that I don't really care for is Year of the Plague. The vocals and harmonies on Lost Reality really kicked my ass from the beginning.

They're like a (progressive) blend of Evergrey and Angel Dust with melodeath influences as well (they started as a more extreme band as Carnut said), but I don't know if that appeals to you or not :)
Beware, their stuff features harsh/death vocals here and there.

Wow, now that's totally different from Mercenary :D
Apart from the first 2, among the 80's records I'd pick "Résistances" but other people might choose "Mise aux Poings" (that title is a cool pun, too bad it can't be translated into English), or even "Cités Interdites".
"Mauvaises Graines" is my favorite among the latest ones (2000), now these days they're leaning more and more towards thrash metal (on "Habemus Metal").

The live record "Ennemis en Public" (1996) also might give you a better idea of what the band has become after the first 2 (new singer(s) and lots of personnel changes).
