Merry (almost) X-mas

And, how long do they last?
For tourist visa, i suppose it depends on a number of factors, they basically want to be sure you'll be getting back home. I remember an old lady told me once that her visa to the US was valid for 10 years, but that seems a bit odd since the passport (on which the visa is put) is valid only for 5 years. I suppose that when you renew your passport you either get the visa-document transferred or you have to make a trip to the embassy again.

Because we all want to come there and surprise you. For Christmas. And we're crashing on your couch.

How in the hell did my thread about Christmas turn into a thread about IDs and passports?

I already apologized. Siren came up with a better answer though. This thread just reminded me how uninformed I am about travel - and sure I could have done (any) research, but I appreciate the testimony. Seeing people, its what the holidays are about, right?

I'm being investigated for some clearances for work, and during my interview I had to list the non-Americans I'm in contact with, and then she asked me something like, "Have any of these people ever expressed a lack of support for the United States government?" "Uhhh...no more than anyone else, I guess."

Well, some people around here are very vocal about how it would be better for the world if the United States were nuked into oblivion: how "in contact" do you have to be with someone to make him/her worthy of mention? Assuming they went through the trouble of checking the communities you frequent online, it's pretty easy to find out you never ran screaming from the kind of anti-americanism that, say, Villain supports with a passion. I mean, you even met the guy once.

I'll edit the above if you think it could compromise your position, but I'm curious. While it's a hard sell to believe I am or was a possible threat to national security, others are clearly over the line of common sense.

Ontopic again: I bought a new watch today. I will have to wait until Christmas though till I can wear it.

well, i did spend a bit yesterday on the only two items of clothing vaguely resembling decency that i have bought in the whole year, but that's hardly a present. however, i've got my sights set on an overcoat that costs about 1000 euros that i don't have - now that would be a present. any takers? :p

^.

Hmmm I want a ticket to Maiden's concert here, a bass guitar and some books.

Oh wait, I'll get all that :) .

Not like it's physically possible to do anything twice for the first time anyway..

I put all my wit to use at hour that early, and you still bring the seed of rationality :Smug: Okokok, I will continue flying German airlines, thanks for re-assuring, but what I really meant was - I don't revisit such things, once we are done - we are done.

Go to an animal shelter and ask if you could take a dog with you for just a day so you can try it out. Then bring it back the next day. Don't forget to wash your cum out of its fur in case you spilled some.

No, I am not experienced in having sex with animals.
