Mesa 412 vs 212 soundclips ?

Is there a big difference when im only going to use it for recording?

if anyone have some clips of the two cab in the same situation please share it

there'll definitely be a difference...the standard and oversized 4x12 sound extremely different already, so the 2x12 will definitely sound entirely different again.
BUT it'll still sound kickass, Ola is using it all the time, and he's definitely getting some of the best tones on this board

I would like to hear a comparison too. Some people say they would prefer the 2x12 over the 4x12 any time.

Something that often is overlooked are 1x12 cabs, very underrated for recording. They're also more forgiving on your wallet and space.
