Mesa Cabs

Finally found someone local to me willing to sell a Mesa cab they have but they are unsure if its the oversized or traditional Mesa cab.

Anyone know quickly how to tell the difference (dims etc.)?

If the cab is 32" tall, not including casters, it's oversized.

Havent got the dims but can anyone tell if this is an oversized cab or not?

that looks like an oversized. They had the slanted top at one point even on the cabs listed as "straight". If it were a traditional (or Stilleto cab as they are known sometimes) straight, the top would not be angled (it'd look like a regular Marshall style straight).

Yeah that def is an oversized recto cab.

Yup, definitely an oversized, they were the only ones with the overhang

I prefer the traditional. Why is it generally accepted that the oversize is better? Shootout would be nice. Same DIs, same amp & settings.
