I was jamming and tweaking around with my Dual Rectifier and turned the bass control up to about 3 o'clock (for shits and giggles) and then the bass just suddenly cut out. The bass knob makes very little difference whether it's at 0 or maxed out. I checked the power tubes, fuse and cables and couldn't find a problem. Anyone heard of any problems like this? Thanks.

Wiper may have broke internally on the pot? That's the only thing I can think of. They use the standard cheapo pots, so that can happen.

Good thing is, they use chassis mount pots and no pcb pot crap(ala Peavey), so it's an easy replacement you can do on your own. And very cheap.

No don't order from Mesa, they add on an extreme markup just like all of the products they sell.

Grab it from here- http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=023-622

Better yet, to save paying $5 shipping a a $1.50 part, go to radio shack and ask for a 1M audio taper pot. They should have the exact one Mesa uses, I'm pretty sure they carry Alpha pots.

Hey man, thanks so much for the help. I'll try to swing by Radio Shack and grab one later today.
