Motivated from Metaltastics Mesa 2 Ch. Dual Rec vs. Roadster comparison i deceided to reamp his "Holy Diver" DIs :kickass: . In a QUICK session i reamped both DI files through a Mesa Single Rectifier, Peavey 5150 MK1 , Marshall JCM 800 and an ENGL Fireball. All amps were roughly tweaked to get a reasonable sound over a Harley Benton 2x12 cab  . The amps were recorded at my flat at low volume to avoid disturbing my neighbors. But listen for yourself and rate the tones from each amp.

I hosted the files at rapidshare - but they can only be downloaded 10 times maximum :puke:. Any better idea for hosting files?

I am looking forward to post combination files of each amp - for example Mesa + Fireball / Mesa + JCM 800 .....

These sound great man. I'd love to hear them in a mix context. My favourites are the 5150 tones but the Fireball tones are intriguing too and sound cool. :)

The 5150 clean sounds great! so does the Mesa one but I wish that one was a lil darker with more bass.
