Meshuggah remix

Right on, man. At the very least, give them props for doing something different.

Just like I say to my friends who can't get into Nevermore, ''Well, if you don't like them, fine...but at least respect them for being better than your favourite band.'' :p

i didnt want to make a new post so i'm going to post here. i just watched the dvd and i think its awesome. i love the faces that the singer makes :goggly:  i like his beard too :Spin:

another sexi alexi post, another opportunity to spread some bad reputation. And yet another chance to update my signature

and they are good at headbanging too

I think I like the original version better.

sure this is a lot clearer and immediate sounding, but I like how the drums sounded more natural on the first release and how the guitars were more bassy and neurosis-like.

how's the DVD, what's on it?

I think it´s great! Honestly though,I really can´t say that I understand why they needed to do this..I like the 1st version as it is.
Been a fan of these guys for well over 10 yrs now..

And,Brookes,I agree with you 100%.

Cheers

R.

they main reason for this was strictly personal for them.

when Nothing was originally recorded it was done with prototype 8 string guitars and they were a pain in the ass to keep in tuen for more than two minutes and it was generally a pain in the ass to record. Also the whole album process was rushed because they needed to get it done before doing Ozzfest. So they wanted to rerecord the guitars as they wanted to have them sound the first time around.

or the stupidity of your last.fm for not crashing your computer when it saw you trying to listen to Meshuggah

Sounds like somebody only heard Catch 33!

Really though, badass part in I, Voyager... bounce-on-your-ass part in TGE... they're both Meshuggah rip-offs!

Some things aren't meant to be understood by anyone.

But Mr. Bungle understands platypusses!

The platypus has the brain of a dolphin
and can be seen driving a forklift in his habitat of kelp
He is the larva of the flatworm
and has the ability to regenerate after injury

(edit: its actually "platypie")
