There is a date (2/15) for Messhugah and Cynic at the House of Blues in Chicago.

Not my thing, though I know both bands have been praised here on this forum so I thought I would pass it along.

I have heard that the third band is The Faceless, not Zimmers Hole.

Meshuggah/Cynic/The Faceless is the rumored package that I heard.

I think the tour will skip Minneapolis. You'll have to travel for this show.......to St Paul or it's suburbs.

Swedish experimental extreme metallers MESHUGGAH will team up with the reunited progressive rock/metal band CYNIC for a North American tour in early 2009. So far the following dates have been revealed:

February 6 - Seattle, WA @ El Corazon
February 7 - Portland, OR @ Hawthorne Theatre
February 8 - Vancouver, BC @ Commodore Ballroom

February 17 - Toronto, ONT @ The Phoenix
February 20 - Towson, MD @ Recher Theatre

very cool!..I've never seen Meshuggah nor Cynic of course. My biggest concern though is the size of the crowd for Station 4. Meshuggah have a very big fanbase..not to mention all the people who've been Cynic fans all these years. Guess we'll see..I may have to make a point to purchase an advanced ticket for this.

Intent on decimating the boundaries of extreme music with their metric art, Sweden’s MESHUGGAH will be returning to North America in February 2009 on a 17-show headlining tour presented by MySpace Music.
