@Slayed Necros you might dig this, I seem to be tagging you a lot lately. Sorry about that. But yeah this has a sort of Brazillian 80's feel to it, but less loose and balls-out and more primitive/rudimentary if that's even possible.



I've been waiting for this to come out, it sounds way better than their last release. Basically a Scottish version of Toxic Holocaust, but less thrash metal and more rock'n'roll/speed metal.

VOIVOD To Record New Album In August

I had lost interest in them after their eponymous album, but they won me back with "Target Earth". Apart from Mekong Delta, Candlemass and Watchtower, they are the only band from the eighties who managed to release at least one record in this century which I really did enjoy.

I'd already included it in my list for 2016, but thanks for recommending it. If the new stuff should be as good as the first two songs on "Post Society" (which I like better than the final three), I'm sure I'll be enjoying it.
