That'll suck just like all the Manilla Road releases

You sure talk about Manilla Road a lot. Closet believer in crystal logic?

They haven't been very good in the last 9 years or so, I'll admit... and Shelton keeps releasing more and more stuff.

Relapse to reissue The Obsessed's debut album.

The latest Hellwell is probably better than anything Manilla Road has done since Gates of Fire, though Mysterium has been steadily growing on me. I need to give Voyager a few more listens though.

I think their previous two were solid releases, but in terms of reunion albums they really haven't been the same since Voyager, which was just unique and un-Manilla Road. Gates of Fire and Spiral Castle are definitely their best reunion albums though.

To Kill a King definitely has some good fucking jams on it

It's up there, but not quite top 3. I definitely prefer the Rick Fisher days a bit over the Fox stuff, but you'd be an idiot to dislike Open the Gates, The Deluge, or Mystification. For me, it's goes something like this

Crystal Logic > Mystification > Open the Gates > The Deluge = Metal/Invasion > Gates of Fire = Spiral Castle > Voyager and so on. I need to explore Out of the Abyss, the Courts of Chaos, and the Circus Maximus way more. And that Dreams of Eschaton stuff too.

I have way too many Manilla Road albums at this point, jot a ton from HHbR when they clearanced them to $5 years ago. Too many to go through, but my favorites are Crystal Logic and Invasion, for sure.

You might be the only person I know who puts Invasion that high up, which is cool and interesting. Metal is still my favourite which I'm sure is controversial even in Manilla Road devotee circles.
