Expain and Witchaven are both underrated as fuck. Just the Tip was only topped by Slave to the Sword as far as technical thrash goes for that year and Terrorstorm was one of the best albums of 2010.

Yeah, I don't just listen to shitty 80s metal. A friend of mine told me to blast this and it is pretty damn great. Not sure it will be the best black metal album of the year, but it's Finnish-style and surprisingly epic sounding. I think I like the new Goatmoon a bit more. Haven't heard Nocturnal Mortem yet so.

The two new Paradise Lost songs are killer. Will be an awesome album for sure.

I was surprised by that Paradise Lost song. Some actually heavy doom to be had there. How long have they been in this particular style era? I should grab a couple albums.

The last album had the slowest song they have ever written (according to Nick), Beneath Broken Earth, and its fantastic! That song gave them the inspiration for this new album. Its going to be one heavy fucker they say.

edit: I think everything they have done is heavy in a sense, the last 5 albums is heavy imo . But the growls returned on the last one and is more doomy I guess.



I also like Spark by The Haunted, Marco doing a good job.
