Metal Artists with psychological issues (for a project)

Dave Mustaine was a mad drug user for many years, it was why he got kicked out of Metallica. I'm sure there has been plenty of stuff written about it.

Varg & then Dave Mustaine were the first that came to mind before even opening the thread.

One good interesting one I haven't heard being mentioned is Gaahl from Gorgoroth. He killed a man & I think he made him drink his own blood from a champagne glass, then he said he put the champagne glass under the guy just to keep the blood from getting on his carpet He was into torturing people.

There is a great documentary of some guys that went to live with him to do a documentary on him in the wilderness of Norway. It was very interesting.

There might be more stuff out there on Mustaine to make for an easier paper, but Gaahl seems more interesting. Devin Townsend was another good one I think.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna use gaahl, cause he was interviewed in 2 different videos which I can cite as non-internet sources (even if I watched them on the internet), and he's definitely one fucked up guy.
