I can't tell you the number of metal songs that started making a hell of a lot more sense when I finally started reading A Song of Ice and Fire last month. I'm on A Storm of Swords now. Utterly and completely addicted. I just saw a list of the "Top Ten" songs based on the series somewhere. Can't find a link for it now, of course.
