Metal Camp 2007 Part 4

[Vampyrian]

BLIND GUARDIAN, IMMORTAL and DORO are among the first confirmed bands for the Metalcamp 2007 festival, set to take place July 16-22, 2007 in Tolmin, Slovenia. More than 80 bands will perform on two stages over the course of five days of live music.

TICKET PRICES!

Ticket prices and ticket structure for METALCAMP 07 are now fixed: in addition to the festival ticket and day tickets, there are 3day passes for those who can't or won't stay for a whole week of headbanger's holidays. An overview :

Festival ticket
- Camping from Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd of July
- Admission to the festival area from 17th to 21st of July (5 days)
- Presale price: 99,- Euro + service charge, on sale in the METALCAMP shop for 104,- Euro
3 day pass
- Camping from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd of July
- Admission to the festival area from 19th to 21st of July (3 days)
- Presale price: 74,- Euro + service charge, on sale in the METALCAMP shop for 77,- Euro
Day ticket
- Admission to the festival area on the day of validity
- Presale price: 39,- Euro + service charge, will be available later

ATTENTION: if you want to enter the campsite with a car, you will need a PARKING TICKET, available for 10,- Euro (as last year). Day parking will again be 5,- Euro.

I remember Bon was at Metalcamp 2004 (Vintersorg played that year, was nice)...not much after that so I'm guessing some might go I'll post lineup updates still, just in case someone does decide to visit Slovenia this year too

the problem for me is inverted..... wacken is so far far away!!!!
i went there for two years, but it's at 1558 km from my home ( i looked on the map) ....and i made them all by car, it's a total madness!!!!!!! two days of travel...

THE HAMMER OF THOR WILL BE ENTHRONED UPON METALCAMP 07 – AMON AMARTH CONFIRMED!

Although the wild Vikings of AMON AMARTH already ensured for furore due to their martial battle-hymns on METALCAMP 2006, the METALCAMP-Team has decided to engage the bards around bandleader Johan Hegg for the upcoming edition, because of the enthusiastic resonance of the audience: in our survey, they toped the list of best performances and were among the most often wished bands. With their latest successful output “ With Oden On Our Side” the true Viking Death Metal kings scored totally once more and developed themselves to an essential substance of the scene. METALCAMP 07 and AMON AMARTH present you the opportunity to look into the (musical) depths of Scandinavian past.

Amon Amarth are the new confirmed band. They also played at MetalCamp 2006 and I just saw them live in Ljubljana a week ago..but I guess I'm OK with them coming over again, they kick ass live So I'm happy still.
