Metal etc at parties!

something, something... drunk chicks, something something...

ok, I'll stop there...

What is it with you and drunk chicks??

I rarely go to parties with metal heads, cause there are not too many of them where I live. And the one I know moves now... So, most of the time, it's just the usual techno stuff that gets played, but I'm pretty used to that, cause it's always been like it, so I survive. And I don't think'd want to bring any of my own cd's. If I weren't drunk enough to leave it somewhere, someone else would be drunk enough to ruin it without noticing it.... Things always get ruined.

AMEN! That's why I always have a metal vor-vorspiel if I'm going to a bigger party :D

Yep, me too...different people, same measures, hehe.. ;)

*Iceheart drinks the icecold Karhu beer Morgana gave him*

..btw, does someone in here like mixed drinks?...then I'd recommend you to try mixing Tequila with Fanta ( or sth. equal..)20/80...

I have never been to a party with lots of people. The closest I have been is a gathering of a few people I knew. We didn't play much music since we couldn't decide what to play. One of my friends was watching a Toni Braxton DVD... that was the only music...

We have parties on average of once a month with about 15-20 people and twice a year - in June and December - we have major parties with 40-50 people. 90% of these people are not into metal at all. But I always play metal music. I don't have anything else if the truth be told. So it's metal or silence. They tend to get along fine with Stratovarius, Sentenced, Helloween, etc. peppered with some Amorphis, In Flames, old Sentenced, Borknagar and so on. Later on after they've had a fair few drinks they even find Moonsorrow's music charming. That's an achievement for people who hate metal music I think. Bottom line.......once they start drinking you could play anything you like and they'll swear it's the best shit they've ever heard. So keep their drinks full at all times ;)
