Metal etc at parties!

I can't stand home parties cause of the simple fact
that the music there usually sucks!!! I think I'd be
able to listen to some of the music, but usually
people never settle with listening to one complete
song, nay, "CHANGE THE SONG CHANGE THE SONG
CHANGE THE SONG!!!! THE NEXT ONE IS BETTER!!!"

After 20 secs "CHANGE THE SONG!!!! CHANGE THE
ALBUM!!! PLAY THIS ONE!!!" Goes on like that until
I get so angry I want to fly into the wall, and as
usual I leave >:eek:P hehe...
 
The party was a success! I managed to get very un-sober
(important to break all barriers). And then I got to play a lot of
heavy on a REALLY good stereo! REally loud, Nobody minded!
Nobody dares to offend my authority! :) ;)

And we went to town, and I had a long talk with the Ragnarok
guitarist, Rym. A very nice person, so at least I should put up
their band URL HERE
Check 'em out if u haven't already. ;)

ha ha - you should've seen my bike ride home! Man I had trouble
keeping myself on the road. I mean it - big trouble. :lol:

:eek: You know the guitarist from Ragnarok!!! :D Wow! That's awesome. I love Ragnarok. I listened to them, 'cause I was searching for the Ragnarok theme for Final Fantasy VII. Well, I thought there was one, and the band name "Ragnarok" popped up. The music was awesome, so I downloaded more and eventually got a CD. Dude, tell him I love his guitar work! :D
 
Weel, I honestly couldn't say I 'know' him. I met him at a bar, and
we talked for like an hour just the two of us... (me very drunk, but
I think he was too, so it was all cool).
But if I meet him again, I'll tell him so ;)

I don't understand that....... Why do guys like to see chicks making out???

If you only get drunk enough, you won't really notice what music is playing...... At least, that's how it is with me. And my friends are nice even though they don't listen to metal, and it's fun partying. -And drinking. Especially when some drunk ppl are having lots of fun and therefore share their booze with you.

Yeah! It IS very gay, you know... I kinda like it a bit, but I'd rather

Exactly. Though I think it's more like 10secs from every song.. I really don't mind whatever the music played in party is, I can listen enough good music at home :)
But that 10 secs from the start of each song is really annoying..

(quoting BS for 2nd time in few minutes :))

Agree :(

I don't go to parties so often, and when I go, there's usually some music which I don't like so much. Tho I can stand it after few beers :rolleyes: When I suggest something, no one wants to listen to it 'cause no one likes it *mumbles* So...I can always leave it background and concentrate chatting with people, but it would be nicer if there was some Opeth playing :)

Well, it's part of one of the most popular male fantasies: 2 chicks at the same time.

And for me, if I'm going to watch a chick make out, I'd rather it be with another chick, because I don't find guys attractive, so I want to see 2 attractive people making out, not 1 attractive, and 1 unattractive.

I can go more in depth, but I won't.

I have to write a book about this. First of all: everything I am
about to write is sincere and based upon my own expersiences..
no offense to anyone. I am also talking in GENERAL here. OK? Good.
Some examples:

STUDENT HOUSE:
We have a student house and we, the students, are DJ's ourselves.
I'm not because I hate it, but my friends are. Why hate it?
Because of the drunk girls. (Mainstream)girls are the most
annoying ones ever when it comes to music when drunk. Not
only can't they make up their mind in the first place about what
music to request, but once they do, they need to change it after
a minute... ALWAYS! The same girl that requested a particular
song will actually come back in the middle of her 'own' song and
begging us to put on another one... at once.. wtf!!! is that all
about?? schizo??

HOME PARTIES:
Now this can be hell! Girlies go crazy on the CD-player.. (and the
worst thing you could EVER do is have a computer connected with
500 songs etc on the playlist!! OMG!). What you see is ppl
constantly looking for something else to play. And if you're a guy..
no matter who, they insist and insist and insist! Oh - play that
one play that one!!! me me me me!! Arghhh! I am happy there
must be at least a month since I was at a party of that kind.
It's horrible!!!
And they don't have to be drunk either, really.. it just 10 times
worse when they are!! :lol:

RESULT:
If u are like me, who 99% of the times listen to a song until it's
done, you will get pissed after all that insane switching after a
while. The reason is actually because it sometimes fucks up
people's concentration when having a dialogue (I am now talking
about vorspiel in particular - the first 6 beers, when u're still very
sober). I just can't help it - it freaks me out sometimes!

And this is why metal chicks are cooler... *kissass*
 
as usually now days i skip most of the posts just to answer(or well, I'm not in here very often now days... so maybe its not that usual after all? ;) ) anyways, I seldom go to partys where there are no metal played... my best friends are more or less as knee deep into metal as I am... and nowdays there is alot of concerts and other metal aragements(?) here in trondheim... so its usually only metal all night! :)
Just now last friday there was a Black Debbath gig :D just love Black Debbath, and after the gig I found out that the whole band was at the bar just across the street from the bar I were at :)
so I went over... and the rest of the night I stayed there talking to them... was really fun, funny ppl :) hehe
