Hello guys,

I just finished two mixes i recorded for my band... i'm new to the whole thing of recording and mixing, i read as much as i could and tried as much as i could and i think the result i got is not that bad, considering i'm a newbie.
So i think i fucked up on the bass and i think the vocals don't sit very well in the mix, tell me what you think and what i could improve...
Drums is superior drummer, snare and kick are triggered with aptrigga, guitars and bass were recorded through a line 6 pod studio UX2, tone settings are my own, vocals are recorded with a shure sm7b
anyway, tell me what you think :)

i would definitely compress those vocals a little more to make them more dynamic. settings i use are:
threshold = -36
ratio = 6
make up gain = 24 db.
attack = 10
release = lowest you can go if not 0.

btw, really nice guitar tones on podfarm, but they could be a tad brighter. also, i'd add some reverb to the vox, nothing strong, just enough to wet them up a bit.

thanks for the quick reply :)
i will try to do so, what do you think about the volume of the vocals?
Do they sound too quiet?
