So obscure metal!!! Maybe the UM guys should make an Obscure Metal forum! Nah! Not many would enter that forum! Anyways some ppl here amongst them myself wanna discuss this subject, am i right TexasFC & Demonspell?
Well i love Obsc. Metal! It is for the ones who really like to discover jewels! Treasures. Metal is not only the bands that we know about from the promotion of the record labels! It is the bands u have to discover so that u can enjoy their offerings!

nope, I only have a burned bopy of the reborn classics rerelease.
one guy in town has the EP, and me and a buddy have been carrying around tapes of it for years until that obscure label released in on cd.
that was the second recording I've been trying to get hold of for years that reborn classics finally let me get my hands on.
(the other was Adramelch's Irae Melanox)

btw. I once had an idea to rip all those rare old nobody-knows-it metal classics and put them on an "obscure metal archive", so that forthcoming generations can learn about them....

obscure metal as in bands that were damn good but never got the success they deserved and are mostly forgotten now, even among metal people, wether washed away by the black metal invasion or robbed by the neo-power metal overkill....
treasures lost in time and newcomers lacking advertising efforts from their label.....

Try Before God. Thats a great little known band. They are un active at the moment, the need a new singer. GOOD STUFF, 2 cd's, but all good. When you order one of these cd's, they dont come with the plastic on them, very easy to open hehe.

Have you heard of Mystic Prophecy?
What about Memory Garden? They are similar to Nevermore, not as good, but similar styles, still worth looking into.
Try Cathedral, MOST EXELLENT doom band.
