I have both. Every piece of MM sounds fantastic. Metal! offers many more options, but many of the producer presets suck total ass for some reason and the hi hats are almost unusable, but the kicks and snares are more diverse than what you get with MM. If you still are unsure I'd go with MM.
Thanks. I listened to the samples and MM sounds more usable to me. I'm after a nice snare mainly that I can use out of the box. I have metal foundry as well and most of the time I keep going back to the default superior library for cymbals, room and snare. I just can't get a good snare sound out of it. But maybe I just suck lol

I think that it is especially useful if you have the option to use it in Superior so you can blend the snares and kicks in with Metal Foundry.

at the moment i´d suggest made of metal. if you got superior there are quite more things to adjust and you could blend another snare, maybe a slate one; that worked for me great in my latest tests. the slate cla is also worth to check out. kick has too much low end but you can filter this out. in metal machine everything is fine, too, but for my taste it´s not the snare that i really like best, but none of the products got a snare on its own i like best. regarding the cymbals i prefere made of metal. and i´d go for multi out. when mixing the different channels with vmr i got some very good results.
