Some of what you consider "beautiful" surprises me. You need to try Maudlin of the Well. I'd suggest the Bath and/or Leaving Your Body Map albums.

confusing and out of place, that pretty much sums of maudlin of the well. I gave them a chance, but they're too awkward to be considered beautiful. Much less enjoyable.

Yeah their early albums are well-written and have a great atmosphere. I still like their latest album, but it's more gothic-doom, and I find most gothic-doom is kind of boring and simple.
