Hi all,
Just recorded 6 tracks with a friend's band...metalcore type stuff. Can any of you offer me any thoughts on the mix? I'm having a bit of trouble with the bass...as you will hear in this, the bass guitar comes out quite loud, but so far, its either too loud or not there at all! The bassists technique was less than stellar, but I compressed a bunch to hide most of the inconsistencies....i don't know...maybe the guitars are the problem - not enough low-mids in them perhaps?
