Really like the mix, especially the drums. So i've got 2 questions for ya. One, you mentioned Toontrack in the thread title so I was wondering if that was Superior Drummer, and if it was, was it used for cymbals? Two, could you tell me a little about your drum sub/bus chain?

I am kinda wondering about the synths toward the beginning. DIGGIN' them. Also, Axe-Fx for the bass too?

I'm glad you like it guys!!

For the drums, I used Metal Foundry as my complete drum set and then replaced kick-snare-toms with samples. So I basically kept the overheads,hihat,rooms from Metal Foundry.

Axe-fx on bass yeah.


As for the subs, I used automation,so when the subs are about to blow, I lowered the bass on the kicks

The strings sounds like EWQL. Am i the only one who thinks that the snare is just a bit high in the mix?
