I always thought Turmoil was metalcore, and they were kick ass. Vision Of Disorder was another good metalcore band before the whole genre got popular.

I can't believe ghey shite like Killswitch Engage and Lamb Of God is lumped into the same category as Converge, Botch and Norma Jean. Clearly the former have big lame arse fm-radio-friendly choruses while the latter just play hard and relatively cheese-free.

I like to consider BDM American death. I definitely see melodic death. I just don't think they fit in actual death, because they have such a different sound than death bands.

I consider them to be Technical Metal. I don't see anything "core" about them at all.

BTBAM are slightly metalcore, listen to the various breakdowns and start stop timing, but yea they're too good to be considered metalcore.

Your post confused me also. How can you think Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage are gay, but not think the same about Norma Jean? Norma Jean usually gets that rap.

Yeah I got that he was trying to be sarcastic, but he didn't pull it off very well.

I don't know or care what rap Norma Jean usually get, my comments are influenced by their music and nothing else. Killswitch Engage and Lamb Of God, Shadows Fall etc. all have cheesy as fuck commercial rock choruses. Norma jean don't.
