This must be the band that stole their name from another kick ass band that vanished after 4 albums.

THEY ARE! :puke: (great another flogging-the-dead-horse-metallica-bashing thread :D)

NP: Cypher Seer - 'Awakening Day'

If the whole bus would have blown up think of the legacy they would have left and all the people saying how they would of been the best band ever. I being one of them. Instead we get this. Sad days indeed.

Terrible to say but completely right. If they have kick the bucket after MOP they would be hailed today as one of the best promises ever in metal and not like the biggest sellouts in history.

NP: Zoser Mez - 'Sweet Tzantza'

They also did a cover of Please Don't Judas Me, a long time favorite song of mine. I've actually wondered why more people haven't covered it, but I put it up there with songs like Stairway to Heaven, or Disturbing the Priest, i.e. songs that pretty much can't be covered. Ha. Anyway, they did a passable version at best. Still, I was happy they covered it, as it proves they have some taste!

Probably because is pretty much unknown and odd song more if you consider the rest of the "Hair Of The Dog" material. Still is probably the best achieved song on the album, it has a kind of gloom atmosphere maybe to be cover by a doom band.

Like most versions they do, pick "Garage, Inc." any given day and see. I bet they are doing this for Garage II , and thanks for the YT link.

NP: Project Creation - 'The Dawn On Pyther'

I think metallica needs to record another Garage Inc. That was arguably the greatest covers album ever released. Some brilliant songs on it and the obscure tracks they pulled out were awesome (Blitzkrieg, Killing Time, and a rare Holocaust track!). Sadly, since that came out they haven't released anything worth a moment of our time.

Maybe if they rekindled their love for the NWOBHM, they might snap back into it? Probably not, but now that they're working with Rubin, who has worked miracles in the past, they just might release something on par with the Load discs.

Oh, and those 2 videos SUCKED!

Maybe their next installment of Garage Inc can include some Jewel or ABBA covers to go along with "Only Happy When It Rains".

Yeah, except you're forgetting this is the producer who couldn't mix Jason's bass in!

who cares(d) about jason? lol only Cliff's bass notes really mattered imo... Jason was just "there"... his playing didn't matter on AJFA... Jason's playing was just for show..he mainly played the root note of James Rhythm guitar.... he didn't do anything worth mentioning unlike Cliff's playing ala Orion, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Anethesia (Pulling Teeth) etc. :kickass:

wow all these people arent much fans of their new stuff... well am still a fan of their music just like their older stuff better everything before the BLACK ALBUM.
