Metallica Ecstacy of gold video

That track is nothing special...

But I am eagerly awaiting the new album. I didnt like St. Anger at all and for the last 10 years I have pretty much dropped Metallica from my playlist completely. But this is the band that in the late 80s introduced me to metal and I will always get their albums. And Im now curious to hear what Rick Rubin gets out of the band. And that one new ong that can be seen live on youtube, the one recorded in Germany does sound pretty fast and heavy.

Assuming youi're talking about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZi15-Ke5xs

It's not BAD, it's not great - it's a HUGE improvement from St. Anger, at least. It goes on way too long and the verses/choruses lack energy, but it has an actually pretty decent guitar solo by kirk standards and a couple parts are somewhat intense (like that part about 5 minutes in).

oh for the love of god
i am a massive fan of metallica, but james man, the least u can do is let it be an instumental be an intrumental and dont put ur
"yeah yeahhhhsss" in
god i hope the new album is good
That's exactly what I was thinking, lol. As a Metallica fan I think this cover is a little embarassing...

Thankfully they're with Rubin now and the New Song sounds way better than anything off St. Anger, and with some polish it can into a truly awesome song. That's why no-bullshit Rubin is there for.
