Is Hetfield out of his mind against.
Tonight they played at a benefit school an acoustic gig with the following setlist (from metontour)

I Just Want To Celebrate (Rare Earth)
Please Don't Judas Me (Nazareth)
I'm Only Happy When It Rains (Garbage)
Brothers In Arms (Dire Straits)
Disposable Hereos
All Within My Hands
Turn The Page
Nothing Else Matters

it is a great cover choice especially with the dire stratis cover and nazareth covers, but disposable heroes acoustically, and a st.anger song? This song choice at an acoustic gig is reminescent of their old attitude. I personally would have chosen the thing that should not be instead of disposable heroes
Thoughts?

Metallica are by far the greatest metal band of all time.

Do you really think the mid-section to Master of Puppets, or the whole seemless, dynamic introduction to One are complete shit?

AJFA > everything. Master of Puppets just a little behind.

For me, if I wish to go beyond Metallica, I must listen to Beethoven.
One works by totally separating the soft and heavy parts while making a story.
MOP? NO. they made a rocking thrashy metal song and totally fucking blew it by throwing in some random, retarded acoustic passage thing in the middle. stupid move. same thing with battery, fight fire, damage inc.
dipshit intros. DO NOT WANT.

C'mon guys!!! Without Metallica we wouldn't have TRIVIUM!!!!
