Metallica...

...is releasing a new studio album, their first in over five years!
I found this on their website metallica.com You, together with me shall buy this one!

James, said this:

'For us, this new album is like re-visiting early innocent feelings but incorporating our experience. It is like starting over in a way.... this album is so chock full of energy, and lyrically, it is deeper than it's ever been because it is involving all the other guys.'

Metallica/Linkin Park/Limpish Biscuit all on tour together in America/Canada. Now that's one gig I'd love to go to! I hope it comes over here.

Will get the new album, apparently it is really heavy. Some say it sounds a bit like System of a down. I bet Jason Newsted is pissed off. He leaves Metallica cos they have gone soft, and then Metallica do a really heavy album!

Bob Rock is handling the bass parts for the album.

I think Jason gave Metallica a kick up the arse by leaving, and it sounds like Metallica are trying to go back to their old heavy self. We shall see!

I was listening to Re-load the other day, and I always thought that that was quite a good album. But apart from Fuel, The memory Remains and Unforgiven 2, it's pants!

"pants" means "rubbish" Crusader! I think it's a Southern England term...in the North we would say it's "bobbins", which also means "rubbish"!!

What is pants? Is it Fuel, or Memory Remains and Unforgiven II?
