so like, every time i use the metrocard i get from work on the bus it says "ONE XFER" and i find myself muttering 'alex...' sort of the way jerry seinfeld used to say "NEWMAN....".

i didnt even realise "xfer" meant "transfer" until a year or two ago.

I rode the DC metro when I last visited. I found it just as cordial if not more so than the L (metro) in Chicago.

Man I'm not to down with the DC metro. I don't like spending the cash. But then again I also don't like driving in DC.

so i was in a car with my three friends and i saw a dude that looked like alex on sunday and i was like 'hey that looks like someone i know!' and then i was like 'well.... i don't actually KNOW him but like i do sort of and that's not actually him i'm sure but.....'
