i thought they were from south america. i dont know. in any case, latin america is home to a ton of metal fans and bands. some of the coolest guys ever.

They are actually from California, and started out as a Fear Factory side project. A couple of the guys are Mexican by ethnicity, but the band is Californian.

Anyways, besides The Chasm, other good Mexican dm includes Cenotaph, Hacavitz, Ravager, Disgorge, Demonized, etc.

Argentum perfectly mixes Doom/Death and Black metal to create and Evil slow churning atmosphere that makes me want to go and kill people!

I'm pretty sure Xibalba is from Mexico.....

That is surprisingly good. Spanish works well in death. I thought it would suck.
I like songs in other languages besides English, it adds mystery and depth.

On the flipside, Ihsahn once stated that he preferred to sing in English because he thought the language was more versatile and had more depth.
