I've been thinking of downloading some Michael Jackson albums. "Thriller", "Bad" & "Dangerous".   Something has me interested in checking more of his music out. I have a brief affinity for classic pop music every once a year or so & I like Kylie Minogue & Madonna :loco: I even like a couple of Spice Girls tracks. No, I don't like cock.

What I'm wondering is how this taste in music translates into The Metal Kingdom? Is this kind of taste acceptable in metal??? Would I still be considered a metalhead if I jammed out to "Billie Jean" then spun my Pestilence, Immolation & Massacra albums? Am I at an advantage or disadvantage among the populous here?

I'm pretty goddamn open minded about the music I listen to, but Michael Jackson might ne a new low for me. I just can't get his songs out of my head when I hear them at work all the time.

Why does it fucking matter if it's acceptable? Listen to whatever the fuck you want.

I listen to Diana Krall and I consider myself a huge metalhead.

Oh, I definitely don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. It's just something that's on my mind, so I'm making conversation.

Imagine yourself in a car full of m3talh3eads & you're driving... You just listened to Strid's demo collection & a couple of Gorguts tracks & you get bored so you put in Michael Jacson's "Dangerous" because you have an itch to listen to "Black or White". How would the rest of the car full of m3talh3ads feel?

Michael Jackson is not a new low. Michael Jackson is awesome, he appeals to a lot of different types of people. I doubt many people would hold liking Michael Jackson against you.
