Midi Floor Controllers

Right, am about to start upgrading my rack, and an effects unit will hopefully be the first part of my quest for more reliable performance, but!

Midi floorboards. I know nothing. What are good models, that are rugged and have nice patch switches? I like the boss style switches as they are quite resillient to abuse. I'd also like to be have expression pedals and maybe (if not too expensive) an LCD display so I can give patches names

Any ideas? Must have midi capabilities, does not need to do any switching (that stays within the amp) and it would be nice if the power supply was not too chunky and no transformers if possible. Also, anyone know what phantom power is all about and how to use it?

I am very pleased with the Behringer FCB1010. Fairly easy to set up, and has an internal transformer.
