I use Engl Z-15 midi footswitch pedal to connect to MIDI IN of my Engl Special Edition Midi controlled amp and i route the cable from my amp's MIDI THRU to Axe-Fx's processor MIDI IN and it works like a charm.
Now, when i decided to test drive my Axe-FX with its amp and cab simulations i want to input the Engl Z-15 midi footswitch directly to Axe-FX MIDI IN and it does not work, i mean it works, but it doesn't change the presets at all, so i'm not sure what problem it is.
I use MIDI channel 1 for preset switching and channel 2 for expression pedal
Could you throw me some ideas on what could be wrong with my setup?
