Whats up guys, I'm trying to record some drum tracks with a korg pad control in Cubase 4. Can't seem to record in real time, got to be something in cubase I'm missing. Anyone help me out ? Thanks

No I basically cant record with the korg. It does'nt record hits, I arm the the track to record, set the markers hit play and tap out the hits but it wont record them. Its sending signal and sound, I can record it in step mode but I want to do it in real time along with the rythem track. Thanks
if your using the pad with usb, do you have the drivers installed? do you have the device show up in midi devices? on your instrument/midi track do you have the correct midi input channel? and lastly do you with korg, do you have the pads programmed with the correct midi notes associated with your drum program?
Would it trigger sound if it was'nt on the correct channel? Like I said I can record hits in step mode with the korg, just not real time
