While looking for a guitar sound with more definition I discovered the crunch channel of the LePou 465. In my opinion it's way more useful than the lead channel.

The whole setup:

Drums: EzDrummer Metal Machine (Bassdrum blended with DW_Kik_3_Hi from Invictus Audio, Snare blended with SSD 10AZ1)

Bass: Juicy77

Guitars: TS-999, LePou 465, Gregs RECTOV30 Impulse

Here's a short clip with all tracks on solo in the last bars:

What do you think? Does it sound undergained? Could there be more density in the mix? Not loud enough?

What about the drums? Bassdrum too boomy?

Mix maybe too scooped?

I don't think it sounds under gained at all. I would try to give that bass guitar a little bit more... Oomph if that helps at all. It sounds super cool left right guitar panning and then weak when the bass comes in alone. I think the bass drum is fine, I love a kick that thumps like that.

Thank you. Any advices how I should treat this bass sound? Bass guitar is always a difficult thing for me - I sometimes tend to mix it more like a guitar because I hate boomyness.
