He can sing better these days, but I don't like his voice on songs like Burden... that slight harshness just doesn't suit his voice.

Weird, that's exactly what I like and hope he does more of. Like on Bridge of Sighs.

I kinda feel the same about it as Godhead posted.
I think on Bridge of Sighs Mike has overdone his new "special style", on Burden it's good though.
(but wouldn't want him to use that in every song or make all Opeth ballads sound like The Scorpions ^^)
