mike's growls in baying of the hounds

i mentioned this in the other baying of the hounds thread, but i don't think anyone read it...i'm curious as to if anyone hears this...

to me, the way he bends the pitch of the growl beneath the distortion is fucking sweet!!! i really love the way he says "i hear them devouring"...and "and roaming the forest"...especially the words "devouring" and "forest"

he sounds like he is saying in a very innocent way...almost like he is telling a story to a child...or you could read my breakfast in bed analogy on the other thread....anyway.

I hated growls until I heard Akerfeldt myself. Man is awesome, great at both clean and growling vocals. Wonder how he does that. I'm sad I can't do it myself

the very beginning...i pointed out which words i have in mind on the first post....for me to hear it, i really have to concentrate on ignoring the distortion of the growl. i try to focus on the the resonant pitch coming from his chest.
