Okay, guys and gals i have had two weeks to digest this amazing CD, yes i said amazing. To the lucky few that were able to get it at Progpower, i know your enjoying it, as i am.

This Cd has valuted into my 2006 top ten. How do you describe this CD, well there is no way to classify it or much less describe it, you have to hear it, and form your own opinion, but i will say this group of young Brazilians have taken on the big boys and have hit a home run. In this Cd you will hear Nevermore, Dream Theater, Orphaned Land , and Mercenary type guitar riffs and vocal stylings. And then throw a little jazz in the mix and MY GOD what a CD.
To say it is proggy is a misquote, to say it is power is a mislabel to say it has both elements and then throw in some harsh thrashy over the top segments, with some jazz elements and then some really melodic moments is the way i describe it. To me the best song is Number 7 "Hellbitat" this song will even be enjoyed by ZOD, it has every element in it and it just falt out Kicks major ass. At a mere 80 minutes this CD gives you enough to satisfy but still leaves you wanting more.

So please if you want to hear the most amazing cd of the year order this as soon as possible, and get your face blown off with the superb musicianship of these fine Brazilian musicians.

These guys would be a great #3 band on any night of Progpower VIII.:headbang:

I LOVE THIS CD! It's got it all, crunchiness, lots of tempo changes, melodic prog parts. Sounds a little chaotic, huh? It's not, it's all over the place, but still manages to pull it all together. My fav songs, Chair Designer, Hellbitat, and Hide and Seek but I love the whole disc. A contender for disc of the year for me. A no brainer for fans of PoS, Wastefall, or Dream Theater.

I asked John to recommend the ONE CD that I should not leave ProgPower without, and this was it. (Well, he actually mentioned two, but I couldn't get my paws on one of the 20 or so Brother Firetribe CDs that were being doled out on the sly.)

What a great suggestion it turned out to be... this CD is amazing! It's definitely all over the place and has so many elements to it that it's impossible to label. However, that is also why it's a great disc... do yourself a favor and pick it up. I also agree with John and think they would be a great addition to the ProgPower stage!
