Miss May I - Apologies Are for the Weak

Yeah I've been checking out more and more Sturgis productions, shit is slick as fuck. Seriously though, one that sticks out the most is TDWP's Roots... album :headbang:

thanks

that is the result of having the proper budget, planning, and time to finish the album like it should be

ah that sweet rare thing. i love it when that happens.
Normally we're stuck with the no time, no money no talent thing though arent we!

Sounds like you need more of that going on for you  Seriously one of my fave discs right now, really well done.

back to the question basically if you want the tone make sure you have lots of mids but I cut out some high mids but only if I get something annoying in the sound. I like to clear things up with the pod tone with a low pass and a high pass and use harmonic exciter to taste. The harmonic exciter helps clean pod fuzz.

I totally agree!
But Joey, I bought The Color Morale's debut the second it came out.
Just WOW... you did an awesome job on that one as well!
They've been my favorite band for a long time now =)

Oh come on Ryan, you know I can't go into a topic about a sturgis production and not make some sort of sarcastic comment about computers playing music. :D
