The following are shows that I never saw and regret not ever seeing now that they're either broken up, or on the cusp.

Police/Sting
U2
Aerosmith
Led Zep
Van Halen

Queen! I'd have loved to have seen them on any of their tours of the 1980's. They last played the US in 1982 on their "Hot Space" tour. From then on they only played stadiums so they stayed out of the US (the US turned on them when they heard Freddie might be gay and have aids, and the US thought they all were gay when they saw the video for "I Want to Break Free") That would be the band I'd most like to see. Even over Zeppelin! That's not a dis on Zeppelin, but I watch Queen videos and I'm just in awe.

side note:
I passed on two tix to see Van Hagar in 1995. I wound up seeing Hagar and Roth this past summer. I came in a Diamond Dave fan, I left a diehard Hagar fan.

P.S. There will be a Zep reunion w/ Jason on drums, believe it.

i missed megadeth on the The world needs a hero tour. :(

im kicking myself in the fuckin ass for this one, they played all the old shit and nothing off of risk. FUCK!!!!

woulda gave a toe to see The Conjuring live, that song shreds.

Dude, Megadeth played like a bunch of stiffs on that tour. I had high hopes, but Dave was so aloof. I was not at all surprised when they called it a day, because Dave's heart wasn't in it at all. Dave sounded like shit at the Columbus show, and I asked the soundman about it later, I was like "were the vocals too low in the mix, is it the building, or what??" And he told my friend and I that "I can't make Dave sound good when he doesn't want to sound good" My pal and I went home thinking we had probably seen our last Megadeth show.

Not that I'm old enough but it would have been nice to see the Beatles, The Doors, Hendrix a bunch of those type classic rock bands.

Good call, I didn't mention the Beatles because what they called a tour, and we've grown accustomed too, aren't one and the same, plus they stopped touring long before their best material surfaced. Last fall I felt blessed to see what is left of the Holy Trinity of British Rock. I saw The Who, Macca, and the Stones all in one month. For my $$$$$$$$ The Who were it, but I must say that Paul was just incredible. Something about being in the same room w/ him was just awesome, and his catalog of songs was incredible. The Stones were good, but truly weren't in the same league as the first two.

anthrax with joey and ratm are my biggest regrets!

ps alex... aerosmith and u2 are a must see so get tickets the next available opportunity cause u never know what can happen in the weird and wonderful world of rock n roll.

bands all seem to come in the same year in australia and dont return for a damn long time so i gotta make the most of it.
aerosmith havent been back to aus since the pump tour whichseems very strange cause they sold out 2 arena shows and as far as u2 go they fucking rocked, they have never been a fave band of mine and i have never bought one of there cds but live they are just something else as i am sure people that may have seem them live would agree.

I have a limited collection of u2 but I know live their the shit cuz I've heard them live on the radio and they seem to be right on the groove with every single person in the crowd of some 60 thousand people.

I really, really regret having not seen ALICE IN CHAINS coz this is one of my ultimate favorite bands and I ain't gonna see them ever. I saw Aerosmith twice. The first show (Get A Grip tour) was really good, but the second one (Nine Lives tour) sucked so badly. Especially Steven Tyler's vocal. Megadeth three times, and Dave's vocal was always a torture, mainly for the last time (TWNAH tour, it was tremendously terrible). I'm too young to have seen Beatles, unfortunately.
