Mix into Mastering Chain/Clipper - cool ?

i'd turn down the vocals, especially where the panned ones are.
drum and guitar sound is cool, but the guitars could come up imo, as well as the snare...and i miss some bass maybe?
loudnesswise its not too bad i think
sounds good!

the mix is phasy much, the sound is hard to situate and swindles alot in the high end. Have you used any stereo enhancer or something?

thanks for both your answers,

i think you're referring to the wide vocal sound, right?
its split harmonizer, to really let the vocals sit on top of the mix in the chorus (this is the chorus section btw.)

everything else is to my ears not really phasy... i guess i could turn down the vocals, but this time i wanted to go for an up front (for the fallen dreams) vocal mix.

any other suggestions ? anyone notice the heavy clipping ;-) ?

bypass the FX on the master bus and be stunned at how tiny your guitars are in the mix, haha. mix sounds amazing, but i really need to agree that the vox are too overpowering and the bass/guitar need to be way more forward.

they are, but i guess thats because of the up forward vox.

this is the first time i mix into the clipper, its really not that easy coming
from a mixing approach with zero plugins on the master bus ;-)

thanks guys!
