No, it's impossible to get GOOD mix out of poor sources. You are able to make it sound decent. Shit's shit and even in disguise it'll smell like a grandma!

Well, the song don't set your goal too high, so just aim for something garage soundlike, be sure to have enough room mic on the drumset. It's a bit too dead now. When i heard the vocalist i IMMEDIATELY pulled the volume down so i don't get shot. It's awfully too loud on the mix. Pull that down a LOT, and half as much reverb as now, and not so WIDE verb, more roomy. Just listen to the original version and then your mix and compensate.

Honestly the original sounds way better than that to me. 
But if that's closer to your vision then it's closer. But still the vocalist needs to gtfo from the listeners face. Moar reverb on the drums also then and not so much room.
