Mix Test

Drums are a ddrum kit with the kik and snare replaced, guitar is a Jackson with emg's into a ts9 and 2 tracks of triple recto and 2 tracks of Xsr. Bass is a Yamaha into an Ampeg SVT 3. I know the mix sounds like how dog shit smells. Need some more ears on it. Thanks

thanks guys, yeah its some shit my band is working on its just like some pre production stuff, drums and guitar are sloppy. My logic, i want to get to the point with my project setup, to were as a band we can just plug in and record riffing ideas and such and still have a decent quality on the production. Im actually mixing this stuff 8x15 concrete block room lol, Its got the Tad treatment "Carpet on a few walls".

its definately a loud mix, but sounds like its being pushed a bit too hard... if your using a limiter try bringing it down a notch

i know its always cool to have the loudest mix but trust me you can go quieter than that and still be louder than everyone else

Yep this is F Cool! Only complain is that the overcompression takes to much dynamics away. maybe turn up the drums a little to get some more drive in the low end?
