First time poster here.

I'm short on space in my small recording room and thought about the following:
I own two marshall cabs, one loaded with Greenbacks, the other with V30's.
What If I prepare 1 cab with a mixture of 2x V30 and 2 Greenbacks, suppose I respect the impedance.
Will it affect the sound coming out of 1 speaker ?
Note that I only do closed mic recordings , so I never need to hear the sound of all four speakers at the same time.
How position the speakers best? crossed, or lined ?
cheers.

If the primary use for the cab will be recording I would personally not use an x pattern and use your stereo switch (presuming you have a modern style marshall cab) so you only have the side of the cab with the speakers you want for the recording purpose playing back at you making it much easier to monitor the source.

presently my cab loading:

Cab1 - V30, Texas Heat, G12T75, GB

Cab2 - V30, V30, V12, GB

Cab3 - V30, GS1275

no modern style cab here? so no switching possible.
I won,der how to mount them. The Bogner cabs are in a X style pattern anyway.
